Intimacy Motion Capture Performer

Full-time·Remote-friendly

Job description

  • Yes, this is a real job title. Try explaining it to your parents.
  • At Somnia, we are creating the world’s largest real-world intimacy dataset to train the next generation of embodied AI and intimacy robots.
  • Because apparently the internet has produced billions of hours of adult content and almost none of it contains usable motion data.
  • You will wear a motion capture suit and help us record how experienced humans actually move together: approach, rhythm, positioning, responsiveness, partner synchronization, transitions, recovery, and the subtle difference between “technically moving” and “knowing what you’re doing.”
  • Your movements will help train Somnia’s robots to become more natural, attentive, adaptive, and significantly less awkward.
  • We welcome men, women, and candidates of all genders. Sessions will be professionally choreographed and conducted in a private, controlled, consent-first environment.
  • Humanity taught robots to walk, dance, cook, and do backflips. Now it is time to teach them something useful.

Requirements

  • No virgins.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Meaningful real-world intimacy experience. A strong Wi-Fi connection does not count.
  • Good body awareness, coordination, timing, and stamina.
  • Able to maintain rhythm without asking the engineering team to increase the frame rate.
  • Comfortable receiving instructions such as “slower,” “again,” and “that movement confused the algorithm.”
  • Able to repeat the same sequence multiple times for science.
  • Comfortable working closely with partners and motion capture technicians.
  • Able to communicate boundaries clearly and respect a partner’s boundaries immediately.
  • Reliable, discreet, emotionally mature, and capable of behaving professionally in an extremely unprofessional-sounding job.
  • Willing to follow strict consent, privacy, hygiene, safety, and closed-set protocols.
  • Comfortable knowing that one day a robot may outperform you using your own data.

Nice to have

  • Experience in dance, acting, modeling, motion capture, stunt work, performance, or intimacy coordination.
  • Experience performing in front of cameras, sensors, or unusually focused engineers.
  • The ability to take direction without losing the mood.
  • An interest in robotics, embodied AI, human-machine relationships, or making the future considerably more interesting.
  • Confidence, curiosity, and a healthy lack of embarrassment.
  • Bonus points if your exes would provide references.
