Operations
Robotics Product Manager
Job description
- Lead product definition, PRD authoring and product roadmap execution, take ownership of product form and feature‑level prioritization.
- Drive user research and experience testing, and deeply participate in feedback closed‑loop with product testers.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, AI, industrial design, mechanical engineering, brand and marketing teams. Translate engineering constraints and brand narratives into product decisions.
- Own product iteration cadence: MVP definition, beta‑phase management, official launch and continuous iteration.
- Track overseas user‑usage metrics and feedback, and translate behavioral insights into product decisions for subsequent releases.
- Align strategy with the founding team, decompose long‑term vision into actionable product milestones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product‑management experience in hardware, consumer electronics, smart‑hardware or AI‑related products; proven track record of independently owning at least one end‑to‑end 0‑to‑1 product.
- Demonstrate capability to assess hardware feasibility alongside software / AI product‑design competencies.
- Solid user‑research fundamentals: able to identify genuine user needs from first‑hand interviews and datasets.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication skills — able to frame your judgments so hardware engineers, AI engineers and brand stakeholders can fully understand them.
- Genuine interest, paired with an open‑minded and non‑judgmental attitude toward human‑robot relationships, AI companions and intimate‑use themes.
- Solid English‑language proficiency for direct communication with overseas vendors, end‑users and media contacts.
- Comfort making decisions under uncertainty. There is no established playbook for this product category; you must exercise judgment instead of waiting for pre‑defined answers.
Nice to have
- Experience working for tech brands that build strong emotional bonds with end users (consumer electronics, smart hardware, AI products, etc.)
- Global‑product go‑to‑market experience (North America, Japan‑South Korea, Europe)
- Academic background in psychology, anthropology, philosophy or other humanities disciplines
- Personal reflections, research or public output surrounding robosexual‑related topics
- Hands‑on experience translating highly subjective, emotional product experiences into actionable specifications for engineering teams
